Matthew walked into the Bronx as they called it. And surprisingly it looked familiar. Frowning he took a step forward as he pushed past a group of kids around his age only to have one yank him back. Hey what's yur problem Matthew pushed the boy away. Ridding his nose of the foul stench. Brushing his nice coat he watched them as the took a step towards him What's a white boy doing in de Bronx yup. This was the Bronx. Matthew's reply short and sarcastic "I came to see the amazing clowns everybody was talking about, I guess I found them," brilliant Matt, start a fight...
(yeah I'm tired of waiting and just want to get to something more interesting in the quest)

(>.> it's your fault if he misses the action)
Kat seeing the boys walked up to them. Her black converses hitting the dirty cement as she put a hand on Matthew's shoulder. "Is my brother bugging you guys? I'm really sorry. I hope we didn't create problems," she said in a sickeningly sweet voice. Her green eyes shimmering with innocence that could only be thought false if you looked deeper into the bright green swirls and got lost. She was great at acting. And anybody who knew her would find this amusing. The way she stood relaxed and innocently infront of the bigger kids from the Bronx. The way the girl in a cute white jean skirt, and silver tank top faced them fearlessly, was bit intimidating. Her foot tapping as she kept track of time. A evil angel. So cute.

Matthew didn't look at Kat his 'sister' but faced the guys. Their snickers as she came up What do you need a girl to defend you now? Can't fight for yourself, son of Dionysus ahh it hit him then. That they were not human. But he didn't know what they were "I don't need a girl to defend me from a couple of jokers," he said in a mocking tone.

Kathrine elbowed Matthew. Why was he being so problematic? Smiling at the guys she shrugged "He's being stupid. Don't mind him," she told them sincerly. A smile on her face.

"Guys..." He noticed they had stopped. Shade walked forward, and the tingling sense he got from then was enough. "Hey..!" His voice raised in warning. Monsters. But Matthew should know that by now. They called him son of Dionysus. Shade walked up to their side. "Why wouldn't it be normal for him to have friends fighting with him? You have your buddies. Ganging up on people?"

The monster, or strange creature pulled his lips back in a snarl This has nothing to do with you son of Haadddeess the words started coming out as a hiss. His apperance shifting. Matthew grinned at Shade "I guess were gonna find out how ugly this monster is..."

Shade narrowed his hazel eyes and glared at the monsters as they started to morph. Some type of mutant reptile. Shade held out his hands. "Ignite and roar, my swords!" His three swords in their sheathes appeared. He took out the two short swords in his left and the large double edged in his right. The sheathes disappeared. A black flame ran across the Stygian iron blades. A haze billowed from his swords because of the contrasting temperatures fighting on the blade. "Of course this has something to do with me. You're monsters that we're going to send back to my father."

Terry stepped forward, pulling Shade back. "Wait, did you forget your problem? Remember what the nurse said? Pull back, Shade. Let us handle this. Come in if it gets critical." He warned the son of Hades.

Matthew then looked at Shade "Erm...maybe we should just use powers..." he muttered. As mortals stared at the kids like they were insane. Ok, so the mist didn't exactly cover the fact Shade was holding swords, but did cover the true form of monsters. How unfair...

Shade shot a glare at Terry, and was going to argue, but he heard Matthew. He narrowed his eyes in frustration. He didn't come to let them down. He wasn't a deadweight that couldn't fight... "Smoke and whisper" His swords lifted into the air. They sheathed themselves and faded into a smoky gray color, then the ash like substance blew away into the air.

[Wrong thread Shade xD]
Matthew nodded to Terry and Shade. Turning his attention back on the hybrid A son of Hermes now is it? I guess he could join the party. the other laughed cruelly Guess we will be feasting tonight...Dionysus, Hades, Hermes- Flowers brimming with frustration and worry as they pulled him back against the wall with a thump. Teeth glimmering one of the males took a step forward. The air around him thickening. His eyes flashes red and for a moment you could see his venomous fangs. His tongue licking the roof of his mouth. He ignored his pulled back friend and turned to take a bite out of the already injured Shade. I've only tasted the blood of Hades once...And it was soo long ago... it hissed.

(Shade- So that's where my post went...)
Terry ran in front of Shade and pushed him out of the way. The coward would actually go for him... Terry's staff flashed out as he blocked the monster's jaws with it. "Stay back, Shade. Help us when we're in a tight spot, alright?"

Shade had just put his swords away when the monster surpise attacked him. He could feel the teeth nearly touch the skin on his shoulder, but then he was pushed away. "Terry!" Shade fell back onto the concrete. Well, he could have been gentler, but he did save his life. His friend jumped in front and blocked with his staff, making Shade sigh in relief. Anger was the first dominant emotion at the beast. He held out his hand and a large black flame worked its way up the monster's leg. Shade stopped and let the fire grow and consume the monster's leg and work its way up.

[LOL]
The monster hissed in anger as he snapped away from the staff. The second male lunging at Terry as well. This time Kathrine helped out flowers pulling that one back. Matthew hissed and let the vines grow thorns as he wrapped them around one of the people. Kathrine completely forgetting the first stared at Terry and Shade. Worried she frowned. Foolish girl. Persephone should be shamed to have such a weak child... Kathrine flinched. Her blue eyes flashing dangerous. Pulling out a small dagger she pieced the already pulled back hybrid. Matthew watched in horror as the mortals gathered around. Great, and their was still 2 more. And only 1 was wounded...

Shade watched in desperation and held out his hand urgently. The flame grew around the second monster, engulfing it. It let out a howl of fury and pain and exploded into ashes. Monster dust. Shade's vision blurred a little. Tired, he stood up. One more to go.
