OOC: because I don't feel like only doing questy threads while I await it to actually begin then this thread has been made. setting: afternoon before the prophecy was received.
IC:
Kat walked through the strawberries. The small flowers whispering "Come on...try..." she frowned and shook her head. She didn't trust strawberries, at least not these. Long story short Mr.D himself had to fix her mess.

(Yeah! Since it hasn't started yet anyway. I'm gonna rp too)
Terry was flying through the sky, thinking about the prophecy. There was definately going to be a quest. And he had made up his mind to volunteer for it. He spotted Kat in the strawberry fields. He willed the wings to bring him down to her. Say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt...maybe invite her on a flight or....The wings pitched jealously, sending him spiralitow through the air towards the ground.
Oh, (Insert curse word of choice)
He closed his eyes. At this distance, he would turn into a 2-D art peice. Terry reached for the wings desperately, and they responded. He turned back upright, making the blood rush from his head back down to his feet. He was dizzy, so before he could get his bearings, the speed slowed gradually. He hit the ground anyway before he could react, tumbling to the side and sitting up. He held his arm. He had landed on it, but it was no big deal. A minor injury. "Ow..." Wow he looked like an idiot. How careless of him. The wings had chosen the wrong time to do that. At least nobody saw....wait. He turned around to see Kat behind him. He blushed bright red and turned his head back forward, looking straight. Maybe she wouldn't notice what had happened...

Kathrine looked up to see Terry. She was about to smile and wave when suddently he began falling. A sense of panick she turned, the barren ground covering itself with a soft clover patch. And when he hit the floor she jumped over the strawberry roots that begged to be grown. "Are you ok?" she asked worried. But slightly amused. Her natural nature making her relax and not completely freak out and her friendship with Terry making her panick. It was another strange thing about her.

He rubbed his arm and looked up. Aw, she saw him. He smiled, but it was halfhearted. Not like usual. Something was on his mind, bothering him."Yeah, I'm fine...."

Smiling she sat down next to him "So what's up? What happened?" she asked him. Her blue eyes wide with curiosity.

"What happened?" He tried to wipe away the troubled expression off his face. His pale blue eyes still had that look. Terry kept his grin and looked down at the clovers. "Nothings wrong. Glad you gave me these clovers. Thanks."

She smiled "The clovers were no problem, though I was thinking more off moss, since it's softer." looking at his blue eyes she frowned slightly "I have known you for five years, their's something wrong,"

Terry laughed, leaning back. "I can't hide from you, can I?" He closed his eyes. "I don't really want to trouble you. But Shade didn't want to trouble me. He won't tell me how it feels. I'm worried about him. His scar."

(I just had lunch lol)
"The nurse said....that he wouldn't be able to go through extreme movements or strain. His back could act up if he fought for too long. Ten minutes. She say his back can be under strain for ten minutes. That's the limit. Or his back will hurt after. It's my fault." Ten minutes was a short amount of time. Too short. Terry's blue eyes narrowed.

Touching his arm lightly she said in a soft voice "It's not your fault. The demon got you."

"Yeah, but I'm the one that hurt him. And I'm not sure if it's safe for him to go on this quest. I can read it clearly in his stubborn eyes! He wants to go to make sure everyone returns safely! He wants to protect us!" Terry felt like slamming his fist into a tree, but there were no trees in the strawberry field.

Squeezing his arm gently she tried to help him relax "He's worrying too. He cares about you Terry, the same way you care about him,"

"That's what I'm worried about. I'm afraid he'll do something risky. Put himself in harm's way to protect someone. It's something he would do." Terry scratched his head, ruffling up his hair a bit. He looked at Kat.
His pale blue eyes were realized now. He had talked out his frustration. His worries. Terry was just glad he had talked to kat. "Ha, you m ust think I'm troublesome, dumping all my worries on you." He forced a laugh and leaned back, head tilted upward to look at the sky.

"It's fine," she said dropping her hand to her side and leaning back. Her gaze on the strawberries as they swang from side to side "I understand if your worried about something and have just held it in for too long," she looked at him calmly and looked away.
