He packed his stuff into a small backpack. Since he didn't have much and coped with living alone in the woods for a long time, he could survive easily and be content with a minimum amount of items. His swords were in their sheathes. He could summon them without carrying them, which was a relief because they were heavy. He packed a change of clothes for five days, some drachmas, a bag of ambrosia and a canteen of nectar. He stuffed some bandages into the side of his shoulder pack and walked out.

He was waiting at the door, floating in the air with his shoes. He looked down to see Shade walk out. Smiling, he landed in front of him. His pack was equally small as his. "Ready? We still have time. Go say bye to Summer." He offered.
He had packed five changes in clothing as well. He could summon his staff at will. It was too long to carry around anyway. His feathers could just stick to his shoes. He brought water and some snacks enough for everyone for a week in a larger bag in his hand. His pack had his clothes, drachmas, and some medicine for cuts. He knew Shade had brought a large roll of bandages.

He looked up, blinking. He walked out to Terry as he landed in front of him. "Yeah, I'm all packed up. I was waiting for Summer. I guess she'll want to know I'm going." He looked at Terry's duffel bag. He had been quite prepared for this. He could tell there was a lot of rations of food. Enough for the whole party for a week.

(Wait, what's going on?!)
I was walking absentmindedly, then saw Shade. I jogged over to him. "What's up?" I nodded at his bags.

He heard Summer. He turned around and swallowed nervously at the question. "There was a prophecy given to Kayden, the Zeus cabin leader. Terry and I are going with him on the quest."
He shuffled his feet. For the first time, he thought about going on a quest. He realized fully what it meant. He was going on a quest. It was going to be dangerous, the prophecy already proved that. He didn't know if he was coming back. In truth, he was starting to feel scared. He looked up at Terry. He had decided he wanted to go to protect his friends, help everyone come back safely. He looked back at Summer.
"I'm going to come back soon." It would be a promise to his sister. His eyes were full of determination.

I stared him in the eyes. "You don't know if you're coming back, do you?" My voice was soft. A tear slid down my face. My eyes darkened. "You will come back. You have to come back." Without thinking, I threw my arms around him.

He took a reflexive step back and almost pushed her away. But he stopped himself. He had never been hugged before. His face turned from pale to bright red. He couldn't say anything. He was at a loss for words. A sister that cared for him. He had one now. He was no longer alone. After what seemed like a year, he replied. "Y-yeah, I'll definitely come back. I promise."
(just read the plot bout the prophecy.)

(k.)
I pulled back. My eyes were slightly red, but still held the fierce look I always had. "You'd better."

Oops. He felt like he had trespassed on some territory. He flew into the air to give them some privacy, smiling. He let out a low whistle. "Nah, he has a nice sister."

(Wait, which one? There's like a million, xD)
"If you don't come back," I threatened, "I-I'll come down to the Underworld and drag you back myself."

(I...actually don't know which one. I just know we're going on a quest, but there doesn't seem to be an objective yet...)
He swallowed and nodded slowly. But that would never happen. There was no way she could go to the underworld. He could never make her. He knew that. He couldn't die. He wouldn't die. He would protect his friends and help everyone return home. "I'll come back." he repeated.

(lol) I nodded. "You will." I put as much power into those two words as I could.

He nodded and looked up at Terry. He waved up to him to come down. "I'll be leaving. But I will definitely come back." He held out his hand. "It's a promise."

Terry flew down at the gesture. He landed and put a reassuring hand on Shade's shoulder. He smiled at Summer to take the hand and shake it. A promise. His smile was sad. This wasn't good bye. Not on his watch it wouldn't be. He would protect him. Like his little brother. He would protect him.

(haha. Lol. Matt gonna tell the objective as it goes on. I'm not sure of most of it. But as far as I know his "randomizer" charrie will be helping Kayden go to Mnt Rushmore and fight the Python and receive the "gift" or something. I keep on getting confused >.> and he won't tell me much. He just says. It won't be fair. And leaves. Yup that's Matthew. Sorry for butting in)
