Kayden wasn't ready for the news that he got, and he sure didn't expect to get the honor that he did. Once he was informed, his whole world shifted into something that he didn't get. Things got confusing, yet easier.
As he approached the cabin, all Kayden could do was stand outside it and stare. Everything seemed so big and different then his old life, but it wasn't that different.

IC: Kathrine was just walking around. Well stumbling around. See, she hadn't yet gotten use to trying to control her powers, and unfortunately, her's were slightly stronger than usual Demeter powers. This was so since her father was son of some minor god of plants as well. Strange. But Katherine never thought to much of it. Her father died and left her as bait for those lousy Orphanages, then after a while they suddently and "strangely" got covered in trees and never were seen from again. In resulotion, she was dumped here thanks to the fact she had no idea how to control her powers. And the fact that she wasn't improving made matters worse.
Stumbling she jumped away from the flower's that leaned towards the cabin of the newcomer. The small petals whispering at her Hey, go say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt, it's not like you got anything better to do... she glared down at them and continued her walk towards her cabin when suddently a tree root popped out of nowhere. Tripping she landed on the soft grass. After a few seconds of cursing at the plants she got up and brushed her black jeans off.
"fine, I will go say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt. But if I get shocked. It's on you," she spat pointing an accusing finger at the flowers. Turning towards the Zeus cabin she causiously made her way up the stairs. "Er...Hello?" she said |

Kayden wasn't really paying attention to the noises around him, but as he had heard a thump, he turned around and saw a girl, who was now standing. As she approached him, Kayden blinks and takes a step forward. "Hey.." He responds, unsure what to expect now.

"I'm Kathrine, or Kat Woods. Daughter of Demeter..." she added unsure of what-else to say. Surely the title "Cabin Leader" shouldn't belong to her. Since she was the only one in the cabin, unless you count the butterflies. And she was still the clumiest, and uncontroled their was. Oh yeah, Kat was definetely fun. As long as those stupid plants didn't trip her and tease her.

Kayden nods. "Cool name.. I'm Kayden Coyne.. Son of Zeus if that wasn't obvious." In fact, Kayden didn't even know what powers he had, let alone how to use them.

Seeing the small vines outside the window peek through as they whispered He's funny. We should say haha what a joke, greetings<3 Matt! glaring down at them she spoke up "I would step back if I was you," yup she would use her uncontrolable powers. Just to kill those annoying plants. Yup Demeter would be proud. Looking down she moved her hand in a swift motion that the old cabin leader did to get rid of weeds. But instead of ridding her a vines, she lined the wall with flowers. "Umm...I'll fix that..." she said blushing. So she tried again. Only to have the trees outside dump apples onto the ground and the flowers bloosom in bright pink shades. "Er...maybe I shouldn't fix that..." she said after her 5th try when the cabin floor was covered in grass. The flowers had foot long petals. The trees were 3x larger and bees were coming in and out trying to pollinate.
"Stupid plants," she spat at them. Hey it's your powers not ours... the flowers sang back. "Well coeparation would be fine," she snapped. And they shrank back. The grass drying up around her feet as irritation prickled her skin.

As she said it, Kayden took a step back. "Woah, those are some powers..
He commented. "I don't know what powers I have," He admits and looks at the plants. "They are quite pretty.."

"They don't count if they work against you," she added the last part glaring at the flowers who shrivled up. "I don't know how to control it. Which is why I'd rather have none...I bet you'll find out what your powers are soon!" she added in a happier tone which made the flowers grow back. Hissing in annoyence she kicked a nearby flower Your not very nice... it said. Rolling her blue eyes she looked back at Kayden

As he watched her, he said "Maybe you could have someone help you learn control..?"

Blue gaze looking upwards she said "The only other Demeter kid that was here died..." the truth startled her one day when she returned from Spring Break. She had entered the cabin to find she was cabin leader, when she questioned Dionysus he said that the old cabin leader was killed during vacation.

[Yup thats possible. Unless you are talking bout floods cause that's all Poseidon. I think rain is Poseidon too ]
"I don't know...I guess Persephone kids and maybe Dionysus...but I think their's is different...My dad he is son of some minor god of flowers, but he couldn't help me.. she sighed. The flowers whispering Your dad was alot nicer than you looking down she yanked a flower out roots and "Hey put me back! it screamed angrily. Dropping the flower on the ground Hmph!. Laughing lightly she said "anybody else?"

"Discipline is kind," she said as one flower grew thorns yeah see he understands rolling her blue eyes she replied "You know they say love is pain. Wouldnt you feel pain if I light you on fire," the flowers knew she would do no such. But they still shrank in fear. Smiling she said "They are like the pesky siblings I never wanted,"
